What repeating pattern do you see in the tree?
The trunk splits into two large branches, then each branch splits into two, smaller and smaller. Roots have the same pattern.

How do trees fight climate change?
Too much carbon in the air is causing climate change. Leaves take in carbon dioxide (CO2). Through photosynthesis, carbon (shown as black) is converted to wood and sugars, or trapped in roots and soil. This carbon trapping helps fight climate change.
